In addition to better sound field and resolution, the low-frequency strength is much stronger, which is completely the difference between professional athletes and ordinary players! These thick film circuits have always been customized products for big brand audio manufacturers. In the early days, many famous factories used them to manufacture power amplifiers, such as K + H, Sony Sony, Panasonic PANSONIC, KENWOOD, JEVIS JVC, Shanshui SANSUI, Sharp SHARP, Pioneer PIONEER, Aihua AIWA, etc. Almost all Japanese audio manufacturers use them, and they have been used for more than 20 years, which has influenced a whole generation. It is also a sound with a strong era brand that our entire generation heard when they were young. It always sounds unforgettable. Sanyo, a company specializing in the production of power amplifier modules, was later acquired by ON Semiconductor of the United States. After the acquisition, it integrated Sanyo's traditional craftsmanship, coupled with ON's unique design, and the later products were even more outstanding. They are still used by large companies in the United States, such as BOSE and Genelec in Europe!  

Fortunately, I came across the power amplifier module STK404-090 produced by Sanyo SANYO in the later stage of the batch of new inventory. There are many models of this series, from STK404-050-140. This series of products is relatively late-stage production, using typical classic circuits, the circuit is relatively simple, the package is small, and the sound performance is good. The design output power is 50W @6 ohms, and the distortion is THD0.4%. Push the general bookshelf or floor-to-ceiling speakers to achieve satisfactory results. This thick film chip was only supplied to manufacturers that made the whole machine at that time, so it was difficult to see on the market.

This board is designed according to the concept of relatively fever, and all interfaces are solder-free and non-destructive to install. The materials used are carefully selected, and the power amplifier module can be installed horizontally or vertically. It is easier to use with a suitable radiator.(The filter capacitor of this board is a second-hand disassembly product, with a specification of 35V8100UF.)

    Sound performance: The overall tone is warm, the sound is relatively soft, the treble extension is high but not harsh, the bass is deep enough and elastic, and it will not be muddy without mixing. Sanyo thick film is a circuit between integrated and discrete power amplifiers. The fine workmanship and excellent craftsmanship are stronger than 3886 and 7294. Old players who have heard Aihua, SONY and other combined machines know that the sound is excellent, and it is difficult for general DIY players to achieve this level.
